Go here instead of next door
How the council allowed Nandos to open right next to this little place beats me. This is real Portugese not a manufactured multi-million pound chain. Service with a smile, food cooked in an "open Kitchen" and a great choice of chicken (of course) fish and steaks. My fav is the t-bone. Can get very stuffy inside, so would suggest going early or sitting outside (4-6 tables outside). Portugese beer completes the experience. By no means fancy or a place for an impressionable date, but good food at good prices.
