Does not really need a review as it is always busy, best chippy in the area consistantly crisp batters and decent chips. Famous for being the shop where "Ian Beale" (EastEnders) was trained !!
yes it is a very busy restaraunt but i have long noticed that they charge more for chips in the bridge road chip road and less at their black bird hill chip shop.
in the bridge road shop they charge £1.20 for a standard portion of chips but at their other shop on black bird hill they used to charge £1 for a portion of chips now it has gone up to £1.10 i think that is not fair, afterall what is the difference between the chips at bridge road and blackbird hill? could it be because the bridge road shop gets more customers because it is situated on the busy main road and therefore they decide to charge people more? everytime i go in either shop i feel i am being taken for a mug. knowing full well they are overcharging customers. i mean ok 10-20p is not a huge amount but chips is chips and i don't think it is fair to overcharge people.
