Reviews for Watford Junction Cafe
Clean and quick food service. It is a bit of a small cafe, but very clean and nice staff. The food was quickly cooked, despite it being busy in the cafe and the portions were big. They do a good tea and coffee with food and prices are very good. Typical greasy spoon, so not for the health concious person or someone on a diet. Still good warming, filling food and cheap prices and if you are not watching the waistline you can't complain about this place. It is by Watford Junction station so handy for a quick bite or early breakfast for travellers.
This place is great for a Fry Up! Especially after a 'heavy' night. You name it, they have it...black pudding, beans, bubble, hash browns!
It is not really a typical greasy spoon, as it is brightly decorated (bring shades, if you have had a heavy night), clean and the service is quick and efficient!
The menu is not just confirmed to grease, you can have a roast dinner (which I still have to try), fantastic omelettes and really fresh and tasty salads (for those goody goodies or designated drivers from the night before).
Drinks wise, the tea is good (bag left in for those who prefer builders tea) and they never ever run out of Lucozade...they do provide proper UK Diet Coke after my friend complained that German Light Coke wasnt the same.
So maybe I will see you there...I'll be the one wearing the shades whilst working my way through a mountain of bacon!
