The Art Kitchen

The Art Kitchen is a tiny Thai restaurant on Swan Street in the middle of Warwick. It is quite popular and often gets full early in the evening as it does a number of Thai early evening tapas deals. When I visited it we ordered a number of small dishes including prawn rolls and different wraps and it was difficult to know how much to order. It did seem quite expensive for the amount of food that we got but it tasted very nice. However I was still quite hungry at the end of it so I think it might be better to order one of the larger meals later in the evening.

This place has fast become one of my favourite restaurants.
On my first visit, the intimate layout of the tables left me feeling a little cramped, but it soon became clear that this simply adds to the ambience of the place.
The food is simply fantastic. Thai food that has an authentic Thai flavour is hard to find in the Midlands, but the Art Kitchen manages it superbly.
Reasonably priced for such good food (around £80 for two people, including wine). The scallops are excellent, and the Pad Thai has a real flavour of Thailand about it; takes me straight back to the little back street vendors in Bangkok.
In conclusion, one of the best restaurants in Warwick, in my humble opinion.
