The Lamb is where I started to drink as soon as I could and was always a favourite with my group of friends on a friday night. As well as being a good pub for drinking it also offers some good food.

The menu is varied and provides options for a light lunch all the way through to a hearty meal which can be enjoyed either inside in the cosy surroundings next to a fire, or outside on the large sized patio area. There is also a play garden for the sunnier days.

The prices are a little expensive but for the area in general not too bad. The Stilton, bacon and mushroom baguette is well woth its price tag due to the sheer amount of stilton that is melted, it is certainly not the skimpy blob you often get in other places. I would highly recommend this choice, as long as you are not too worried about your cholesterol!

The service is quick and efficient and the surroundings pleasant. The lamb is well worth a visit!
