I stayed at this hotel twice last year and would highly recommend it. It is on the outskirts of Liverpool and right on the coast. The accommodation as very good and I was given a large comfortable room on both visits. The food is superb - be careful or you will overeat, the portions are huge. The history of the hotel is fascinating - it dates back to the 16th Century. And the "Star Chamber" sitting room is phenomenal.

For golfers there is a golf-course that adjoins the hotel grounds and Leasowe Castle offers golfing packages.
Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
