What a place
fantastic atmosphere, awesome food and not bad prices at all.
We think it is the best restaurant in wakefield .our company had booked us our xmas party and what fantastic a night we had.you just can not compare quovadis with the rest of the restaurant in wakefield ,it is light years ahead of them.
very clean and very friendly staff .we could see that every body in the place were having a good time.

Quo Vadis is an excellent Italian restaurant – definitely the best place to eat in Wakefield and it may well be (in my experience) the best Italian in West Yorkshire.
The thing that stands Quo Vadis out from the rest is the very high quality of the dishes they serve. Everything is exquisitely prepared with carefully selected and fresh ingredients. The portion sizes are fantastic. As an example – all too often when you order mussels as a starter in most restaurants you are faced with a small bowl which doesn’t justify the price. At Quo Vadis, the bowl is literally overflowing with the molluscs!
The fresh pizzas are excellent – again there is no skimping on cheap low quality ingredients – and there is a specials board which changes on a regular basis.
Staff are friendly, welcoming and efficient and are not averse to giving out a freebie or two for regular faces!

Food Okay but Lacking Atmosphere 21st August 2008

As the title says, the food is okay, nothing special but nothing to complain about. The big drawback I found was the complete lack of atmosphere. Italian restaurant should be happy, loud and welcoming. This place just felt like having a posh meal at the local motorway services.
