Reviews for Nosh
This is a regular haunt of my parents and when ever I go home I ask to vist Nosh. It's great for families and for a romanic meal. The chef is the owner of the resturant and you can tell from his wonderful dishes.
Brunch is also great. Friend staff, good food at a good price what more can you ask for....
Nosh is a family run restaurant in St Margarets, which is located between Richmond and Twickenham. We went there one night for dinner and initial impressions were good - I liked the feel of the room, it felt and looked a little like a gastropub, which is a plus in my book. Service (for us anyway) was friendly and efficient.
We started the meal with a glass of Prosecco to wash away the working day. Food wise, Alex started with the Garlic Mushroom Crostini which he seemed to enjoy. I didn't bother to taste any as I don't like mushrooms and garlic doesn't like me!
For main course we both opted for the Five Spice Pork Belly - the pork was perfectly cooked and the flavours of the dish were delicious. We shared the Chocolate Fondant for dessert, which was nice and rich and chocolatey, though the ice cream tasted cheap.
Although we enjoyed our meal and liked the space, there was something about Nosh that will probably keep us from returning in a hurry. Perhaps it was the poor way that staff handled a query about nut allergies from a neighbouring table, or that they felt the need to garnish a nice looking serve of Pork Belly with a piece of parsley. Fickle aren't I!
I love this restaurant! Have been there a few times now and it never disappoints. The food is beautifully cooked and the menu changes regularly. The staff are superb, friendly, knowledgable and in no way invasive. This is mirrored in the atmosphere which is extremely relaxed and friendly; I can't imagine anyone feeling anything but great about there experiences at Nosh, whatever the occasion.
an absolutly awesome place to eat in SW London. Great food, great atmosphere and really reasonably priced. Also if you have a food allergy ... not only do they know what they're talking about and understand, but the chef will make somehting special for you if you don't fancy anything on the menu.
A really great place to have a special dinner, or simply a night out.
