I hired half the bar for my engagement party over the weekend and found the management to be very very welcoming (nothing was too much trouble), the drinks reasonably priced with a good selection, and the atmosphere buzzing. I gather they are not a particularly busy pub usually, but there were approx 85 guests at the party and the staff coped very well. I was able to set up a tab and we were allowed to bring a table full of food ourselves. I did not eat here, but one of my guests had steak and it looked absolutely delicious. Meals on the blackboard were approx £6.95 and I am planning to go and sample!
All in all, i would highly recommend the pub - thanks for a brilliant evening!!
