We sometimes visit Prior's Lodge at lunchtimes from work, it can be a bit hit and miss in terms of whether you get your lunch in time to actually eat it and enjoy it but the food is generally standard pub grub and good value.
Friday lunchtimes can be complete chaos if you want to order food and I suggest you go early (before 1pm) if you have a tight hour to get back to work in. The sandwiches and light bites menus are varied and ive never had a meal that didnt hit the spot for a lunchtime bite. Parking can also sometimes be a problem at busy times but the beer garden is lovely on a summers day.

I like the priors lodge. I go there alot with my friends. The food is good. The service is friendly and always efficient.
