This restaurant has an upstairs serving lunches and snacks and a basement for evening meals. Those in the know return here again and again. The evening menu is varied and includes several very tasty vegetarian options. I especially recommend the nut loaf. But don’t let that put off the meat eaters; they are well catered for too. The evening menu is varied and includes several very tasty vegetarian options. I especially recommend the nut loaf. But don’t let that put off the meat eaters; they are well catered for too. Everything is freshly made, well cooked with generous portions. There are a great selection of desserts and a reasonable wine list. The cosy environment adds to the fun and the staff create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Seating is limited so it is best to book, especially during busy periods like graduations when they can be booked a month in advance.
