There are many fine restaurants in Sutton, unfortunately this is not one of them. Pizza Express is one of my favouirte chains, however I have been let down twice by this branch in particular. It has a lot going for it; a great menu, excellent location on the way to Sutton railway station and a reasonable amount of room inside.
I'm not sure how you can make a winning formula go so wrong. Sloppy service, incorrect food, poorly cooked food that I have had to send back twice in one sitting and on two different occassions. Add to this an apparent lack of caring from the mangement team and a meal here has disaster written all over it.

Just a few doors down from Sutton rail station and across the street from Revolution is Pizza Express.
I have been here quite a few times over the years and its remained on the list of possibilities if I’m out for dinner in Sutton (I’ve never been there for lunch).

It has quite a narrow shop front (that is opened in the summer) but the restaurant stretches back further than you would think. It has much the same style as the other Pizza Express’s I have been to i.e. clean and modern with a bright open plan style.

The menu is pizza, pasta and salads, nicely presented and cooked well. The staff here have always been friendly and the service fast enough. The atmosphere is quite laid back.
