Reviews for Eauzone Restaurant Cafe Bar
I have eaten here several times with friends with family with my Mum, sisters etc. The food has always been excellent. The presentation of the food is equal to the setting, smart but comfortable, The staff are pleasant and offer a variety of Gins for my order of G & T and always have slimline tonic! This is an ace in my book and I know that every time I go it will be of a consistent standard not just hit and miss but every time. This means I can arrnage to meet people there and know the food, drinks and service will be very good. Somewhere to be shared and enjoyed!
I am very surpirsed at the two other reviews I have just read for Eauzone and wonder to myself if they have actually even eated there.
I have been going to Eauzone for quite some time and can honestly say I've never had a bad experience there. Both my partner and I agree that their sunday lunch is by far the best in Sunderland.
Most of our family birthdays are celebrated here and the friendly and attentive staff never fail to make the occasion special for us. I would highly reccomend Eauzone to anyone looking for a quality dining experience in Sunderland.
I'm giving this a rather negative review because 2 years ago this place would have got 5 stars off me, and now every time I go I am more and more dissapointed.
Standards have just slipped so much over the last 18 months or so.
The menu used to be beautiful - really different and funky...now it's just steaks really.
The toilets used to be really posh - now you'll be lucky to get a hand towel.
The atmosphere used to be awesome - now it's just bland.
I went with a friend on a hen do a few months back and 2 ladies got pretty much raw steaks even though they asked for them well done. They sent them back to the kitchen twice, and they still weren't cooked right.
Like I say, I would have described this place as 5 star not so long ago, now it is "ok".
Excellent location - cheap parking located just behind the building. Would highly recommend for sunday lunch - they offer a three course menu for £12 ish and the quality is excellent. Have also had a few snack type meals in there aswell which have always been beautifully present and very tasty. The setting is lovelt - a modern twist with a very nice & relaxed atmosphere.
