    We had a 2-couse lunch here. Food was excellent and good value for what we paid. It was un-pretentious, good British. The service was friendly and quick. The manager looked genuinely interested in providing good food and in pleasing the clients.

    I've been going here for a couple of years. Every time i have a very good meal. Good sized portions and lots of different choices. Not a great deal if you're vegetarian but there is always an option. I would definately recommend the duck and the baileys cheesecake - they have to be my favourite. The pudding menu is very very good - too many good things to choose from!

    Service is always very good and very friendly.

    Ask for a table under a ceiling fan as it can get very hot in there.
