definatly the best in stratford, had a really enjoyable experience and love the restaurant, we noe go there everytime and the staff are all very friendly. It's great to go to a family run reataurant and Russon's do beautiful home-madde desserts :) Recommend it to anyone...it's is a wonderful place to go to eat.

this the defienatly the best restaurant in the whole of Stratford, after my first experience, we go there every time, and we are never let down. The service is amazing, the atmosphere is fabulous and I'm a very fussy eater, but i love all of their food and they have wonderful home-made deserts. its also got great value £10 for 2 courses. I definately recommend this to anyone.

I have been to Russons a few times now, and have enjoyed every visit. The staff have always been smiling and polite. There was so much varity on the menu it was difficult to choose! The soup of the day (tomato and basil at the time) was perticularly good, while also was the ocean's grill. The food served is seasonal, and i cannot wait to try the new summer menu! A delightful resturant, i really reccomend.

I only just went to Russons after having such good reveiws about from my freinds and to be honest i was totally shocked about how good the service was not to metion the food it was sublime. It is a lovely family run restaurant which i shall be retuing to very soon and it only cost £10 for 2 courses, which i thought was absolutly brilliant. Overall I give it an outstanding review. I loved it there

We love this restaurant!!! We are local to Stratford and eat here regularly. We love the fact that it is family run restaurant; the Owner works in the kitchen and is often seen out on the restaurant floor, her daughter is the Restaurant Manager and her son-in-law is the Head Chef. They are always friendly and happy to see you. It’s lovely to see a family that works so well together and it is great for the customers as you can see the love attention that is put into both the food and service.

The atmosphere is relaxed and the surroundings are cosy. The food is just superb and it can be so hard to choose a meal, when every single item on the menu is so divine. We eat here regularly both with friends and family. The seafood crepe is always piping hot and full of flavour, the steaks are cooked to perfection. The food is consistently magnificent and that is why it is our No. 1 restaurant.

We should have turned around at the door. Upon arrival it was clear that we were inconveniently between main sittings, and I'd rather not have overheard a conversation about whether to offer us the cheaper early-evening menu (they decided against it).

We were placed behind the main divide, where we sat more-or-less alone for most of the meal.

The food was poor. I had beef bourgignon, served with mashed potato with lumps the size of a 50p-piece, and mushrooms which I suspect were tinned. C had a steak, requested medium-well, which varied along its length from medium-rare through to very rare; and this for £16.

In the end the attitude of the staff convinced us that it wouldn't be worth our while to kick up any sort of fuss, so we finished up and left.

It wasn't the fault of the very nervous young waiter, they may not have had room in the section with people in it, but it just made for a poor experience, and bad value for £50ish for two mains and two drinks each.
