Situated right next to a large car park, the Windmill is ideally situated for the times you just want to go for a quick coke with some friends.
The building itself is your typical old building with plenty of character, from the beams in the main bar to the slightly sloped floors!
It is broken up into 3 real sections, with th emain bar area, a smaller area with some seating at the front and a seperate room with a few tables in which is a nice place for a bar snack.
There is also a beer garden at the rear for the rare warm summer evenings, and even patio heaters for the more common cold evenings.
Overall The Windmill is a pleasant place for a quiet drink, avoiding the noise and crowds of some of the bars in the centre of the town.
