DO NOT GO HERE !!!! - We went to Pizza express on Sunday and it wasn't busy at all I now know why. The service was bad to say the least we had to wait 10 mins before they even offered us a drink. They had no Pasta or pesto it was a choice of pizza or nothing on the main menu. The deserts menu wasn't much better they only had ice cream or Chocolate cake. When we were in there several people walked out after trying to order no wonder the restaurant was so empty. There were no apologies from the manager really disappointed with the whole evening.

We visited with my 3 year old nephew and the kids menu really impressed me. It has plenty of selection, not the normal nuggets or sausages, and also encourages kids to have vegetables not chips!
We managed to sit outside on the decking area by the river. Its a lovely setting, but weather dependant.
The service was excellent. They let me use the disabled loo when my potty training nephew needed an emergency wee!
It didn't seem like the normal chain type restaurant where everyone is faceless. I would def recommend it to people who want to grab something after shopping or the cinema.

Most of the Pizza Express places that i have been too have always has a nice atmosphere and the food is always spot on and this place is the same. The only difference is, the seating area. you can either sit by the side window - i say window but its a glass wall - and it over looks a little river with lots of greenery and trees. its very tranquil. or you can sit at the back outside, a little bit noisey but on a hot day/evening its perfect.

The staff are always friendly and very attentive. The food is always good and nicely presented.

Its a nice place to go for a romantic meal for two or if you are going with a big group of people.
