I have to say this is a very nice public house. It has a very friendly atmosphere, and the landlord makes you feel very welcome. It is fairly small and cosy, and the front bit is an old style pub. There is a pool table there too. Out at the back, where they serve food, it's a bit more modern, but it doesn't lose any of the atmosphere. The food itself is of a very nice quality, although the menu is not the largest. That said, I go there almost every week, so I think I have run out of new things to eat there! There is also seating outside which is very nice in the summer. All in all, very much recommended.
