Went here for the first time on Friday night, and I'll definitely be going back. Not only is it right next to the train station (I live in Fareham so nights out in Southampton can be tricky!), it also has the best selection of real ales I have ever seen!
Inside its very relaxed and quirky - large with a mix of tables and chairs and leather sofas. There is a juke box with a good selection of tunes and also a pool table upstairs.

Well-run real ale pub, usually a good choice of beers even if it is Enterprise Inns.
Loads of space but never enough seats.

My friend once wee'd in an open car window when we were on a pub crawl during fresher's week. I haven't been back there since - in 10 years! It was an alright pub back then...
