We have been going to Cafe India now for about 6 years and now it is our first choice for Indian food on ocean road, south shields. The decor is very modern which we like but the biggest thing is the authentic Indian food. The food is beautiful and we can never finish it as the portion sizes are large,the menu is extensive and they have a good variety of drinks on offer also. We recommend the shashlick chicken which comes out a sizzling plate or a good old lamb madras to satisfy your taste...

We recommend the shashlick chicken which comes out a sizzling plate or a good old lamb madras to satisfy your taste buds. The staff are very friendly and attentive.
Very busy on saturday nights. They also cater for large parties as they did for my birthday once and there were 14 people there.
