However, Two Steps more than holds its own in this area (Hunters Bar, just behind Ecclesall Road) and is definitely the heavyweight of Fish and Chip shops around there!!

It’s been open since 1895 – and has continued to serve quality fish and chips to the people of Sheffield since. You’ll be hard put to find anyone who will say a bad word about the place. You can see people literally dying to get stuck into their food the minute they walk out the door.

Well worth queuing up for – Everyone loves Two Steps!! Quality food!!

Fish and chip shops are two a penny these days, and you can never quite tell whether you’re going to get a tender flaked cod in crisp melt-in-the-mouth batter, or a dry, chewy, over-cooked excuse for a piece of haddock. Usually, the only way is word of mouth or online review sites such as this one! Few are more talked about, though, than Two Steps in the Hunters Bar area of Sheffield, just behind Ecclesall Road.

It has been well over 100 years since its conception having been established in 1895. Not too long ago a more modern fishery in the form of Paris Fish Bar was opened… and consequently closed down a few years later due to the sheer popularity and customer base of the rival across the street.

If you feel strongly about your fish and chips and are looking for consistency and downright yumminess from your traditional fodder, Two Steps will successully provide your fix again and again.
