The choice of beers is great and the conservatory and beer garden are really lovely.

This pub is all about the real ale so if you’re a lager fan then don’t visit this pub.
You will find a whole mix of different real ales ranging from the commercial variety to something which appears to have been made with water pulled directly from the River Don (R.I.P Wards Best Bitter).

The pub is small but friendly, quiet but yet you can always strike up a conversation with one of the great locals that visit this place. It’s very difficult to miss the Shef View as it’s not on any main road; you really need to look for it. However this ads to the uniqueness that is The Sheaf and long may it continue.
