This pub is situated on the corner of hand lane and high wych road.

The outside of the buiding is lovely, a typical english country pub. There is a quite large car park outside the front so parking is no problem.

The food here is of a pretty good standard. Definitely above average pub food. The roast is good on a Sunday, and I think it is served for most of the week as well. There is a good selection of sandwiches to have at lunchtime if you fancy something a bit lighter. There is a good selection of desserts but they are typical pub style ones.

Definitely worth a visit.

This is one of those pubs that seems toget recommended by word of mouth rather than by loads of advertising, so as there are no reviews for it yet on here alloow me to do the honours

This is a nice size pub, with the tables laid out at a good distance from each other inside. It's not one of those places were you are sitting on top of each other and listeing to everyone else's conversations!

There are parking places at the front so getting in and out is no bother. the menu ranges from bar snaks to a full meal, but for me the best thing I've eaten there is the sunday roast - really nice and a huge portion of what I'd call ' proper food' - you certainly won't fancy eating again a couple of hours later like some places!

Nice friendly staff and very reasonable pub prices. As far as I know all the food is cooked fresh on the premises

If you're over this way or passing, definately worth a good visit, particularly on Sundays! :)
