Driftwood is a new gifts and art shop that also stocks artists materials. It is located up the alley that run from the car park at the back of the co-op to Fore street. The alley has been renovated and comprises neat little shop units on either side of the walkway with residential flats up above.

Driftwood really fits into this newly styled shopping mews (Keast Mews to be precise).

The shop has a good range of gifts, painting and artist materials and their prices are really good. You can buy a quality gift and prices start from under a fiver. This is good news for kids wanting to spend their pocket money on a present for mum or dad.

They have paintings and pictures from many local artists and photographers who provide some fantastic local scenes, as well as their own art.

It is also good news for the grown ups. Anything that prevents us from having to spend time and spend loads of money going to Plymouth really is a gift. Well worth a visit.
