Reviews for Titash
This indian serves lovely indian food at a resonable price. The staff are very welcoming and look after your needs. My friend doesnt like corriander! and they were happy to make her a curry without it!! They also serve a few english dishes which is handy if one in your party isnt too keen on indian food! They serve a nice balti too! The decor is pleasant, i think it was redecorated a couple of years ago.
My fiancee and I are not weekly regulars but go on special occasions such as our anniversarys etc... and i must say that this food as an Indian is top!...u can not expect better... the waiters have always been great with us .i recommmend definatley the chicken madraS and aloo matta to start..really gorgeous! ....and we always go for the padhina keema with lasun ki naan i think there called. the house red is nice but then im more into their champagne as we go for special occasions.... lush!...REALLY NICE.....Only thing i would say if do not go to late in the evening as you get the town lot go in then and get a little noisy.
The first time i visited there was a large group dining at the time we went, but the rest of the restaurant was not full enough to justify the long disappearances of the waiters. The food was average, with the exception of the delicious samosas. They have a large menu with lots of options. In my opinion there are other Indian places in Rugby where you would get more for your money, both in service and food quality. Still, a decent meal overall.
We then tried it again, approx a week later unfortunately no one cares as we enter,we need to find our own table. There is no flavour in the food,it doesn't taste like indian food,i can say it is the food with just colour and cream added to it.The bread was cold and rubbery,it was not busy when we went there but waiters dont ask what we need and again kept disapearing ,and my wifes tandoori chicken was overcooked.
This Indian restaurant was very very good The decoration and atmosphere is very inviting, and the food is wonderful. They have very talented chefs who cooked our meals to perfection after taking so long to decide what to have because everything looks so nice.. The staff are very helpful and friendly especially if you're not sure of the menu and need it explaining or just some advice, and we ended up eating there 2 times in a week after first trying it out. Much nicer meals than some other indian restaurants i have tried and it didn't cost as much as we expected either, very reasonable for the amount of food you get.Everyone in our family love this restaurant and as yet have never had one bad experienc. Definatly worth a try!!
This restaurant is welcoming to families, groups on a night out and late night revellers. It has a wide menu of delicious food, great service and you are never rushed to complete your meal and leave. The waiters are attentive and offer advice if asked about your food choices. Please bear in mind the portions are very large and I would err on the side of ordering less than you think you would need - after all you could always order more. The round table sited at the rear of the restaurant is great for parties of 6. One of my favourite restaurants in central Rugby. I thoroughly recommend this indian restaurant for great food and unhurried dining.
Titash is my favourite restaurant in Rugby! My family goes there regularly and the service, food quality and standard is always reliably high. Although none of us are vegetarians or have any food allergies the menu is very broad with plenty of options for those on special diets. As well as a very complete menu of Baltis, they have lots of traditional favourites to choose from as well. They have delicious starters (not just the standard options) and the family naan bread is big enough to feed two families and all of their starters and mains are generously sized. They sell a selection of Indian beers and have a well stocked bar. Titash are thoroughly recommended by this reviewer!
