    Lovely!!

We enjoy visiting here with our family on regular occassions. The food is delicious and the restaurant is very relaxing and quite traditional. It has recently been refurbished too. It gets very busy during sunday lunch. Sometimes people queue outside for when the restaurant opens!but the fresh food is worth it. At the bar you can queue for a while which is a bit of a nuisance. The puddings are delicious and they also offer a range of coffee and liquires. My favourite is the irish coffee! Dunchurch is a pleasant historic village and we often enjoy going for a walk after sunday lunch!

This restaurant is wonderful! The staff are exceptional, efficient and very friendly. Honestly the food was quite amazing and the presentation was great.
I can't say anything bad about this place because it has all the good quality of a perfect restaurant!
I spent a wonderful time in The Dun cow.
I do not agree with the comments that its expensive.... i think you get what you pay for ....and its money well spent in my veiw.
It does get quite busy but again it just adds to the atmosphere.
I also like the sausage and mash and gravy was really good.

NICE FRIENDLY RUN PUB/RESTAURANT - SLIGHTLY PRICEY
    Current
This restaurant/pub is a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere, although as previous reveiw said can get a little crowded dependant on what days you attend....

We have been a few times with family and all have enjoyed it, food is always good quality and the staff and service has always been very good.

The steak and ale pie is sooooooo good and also the apple tart is amazing!!! did not like the lamb, although the rest of the party loved it...SO just goes to show that there is something for everyone.

As a pub i think its really really good, myself and my husband have been there quite a few times and always has a good atmosphere and a nice crowd.

good pub food but always busy
    Current
This pub is very popular and it can be hard to even find a car parking space in their large carpark if you go during the busy times at the weekend. The pub is a maze of small rooms, open fires during winter and great food in substantial proportions. The menu changes seasonally but the main favourites of traditional english pub food seem to always be available. This is not cheap and cheerful pub grub but well cooked and presented meals and it is one of the pricier pubs to eat at in the area. This pub has tables to cater for larger groups and the lunch menu is good and reasonably priced. I recommend this pub to eat in but if you want to eat at the weekend I would turn up early to get a table.

    Good pub grub
    Current
While a little expensive, the Dun Cow in Dunchurch offers an authentic pub atmosphere, perfect for your family's weekend or evening meal out. There's a good selection of beers (with the odd seasonal one too) and a pleasant drinking saloon bar.
For eating there is a maze of rooms to find a table in so you never feel too crowded. The menu is a nice selection of English favourites with a twist. My personal favourite is the sausages and mash with gravy to die for, but there's plenty on the standard menu and specials board for everyone to find something they like.
All in all, a pub with character where you can spend a pleasant meal with friends and family.
