Shame about the chips!
We went there during August and the food was great except the chips which looked great but were crispy and inedible.The fish was great the ploughmans was fantasticbut the chef's response to the complaint was that it was because during August chips come out like that.
Sorry guys not good enough,they were like that because they were cut small and used new potatoes,I object strongly to B/S..no refund no apology just tough.
I also have doubts as to the suitability of wooden boards for dining room use,and the acceptance the=at the chef can have a fag in the front garden still dressed for cooking.I also saw that some of the food came from Somerfield as a member of staff came through the restaurant with a couple of bags of frozen food.
Will not return.
