Bar Estilo is a very cosy and welcoming restaurant. Not far from the high street, it is easy to find and was very easy to get a table at with very little notice - not sure if this is a good thing or not?

Food is an interesting cuisine. I am an extremely fussy eater so struglled shoosing something to eat as one of the meals didn't have ordinary mashed potato - it was carrot and potato mash - Yuk. Why spoil meals like that???

Otherwise everyone else found loads of things they liked so they were happy - I guess I'm just too fussy!

ambience is very cosy and the staff are great - welcome you at the door and provide exceptional service.

Prices are reasonable - maybe a little dear but agin it depends what you are used to

This is one of our favourite restaurants of all. There are branches of Bar Estilo all over London. This is our favourite one though.

Centrally located, lovely 'Spanishy' decor, an excellent menu and generally good value for money.

We have had birthday parties, hen paries etc. here as it's such a vibey restaurant. Service is superb. On the ball but not in-your-face.

The only downside is their TINY non-smoking section is tucked away in the one corner, so you dont see the view over the Thames at all, and there's not much space.

Although not too happy about it, we brave the smoking area now and again as it is definately alot nicer and more spacious in that section of the restaurant.

There are many delicious meals on the menu, it's hard to make a choice actually. From the seafood to the pasta to the ribs ~ all are tasty and enjoyable.

Here are some examples of our favourites (descriptions nabbed from their website):

    STARTERS:
Crispy potato skins with guacamole - 3.75
Nachos with black bean chili, cheese, guacamole, salsa and sour cream - 4.50
Spanish tortilla with roasted peppers & pesto - 3.25
Nachos with chicken, black bean chili, cheese, guacamole, salsa & sour cream - 5.25
Barbecue spare ribs with sweet chili sauce - 5.95

    MAIN:
Confit of Duck - Slow roasted leg of duck served on a potato cake with sauted cabbage & bacon and a raspberry sauce - 10.50
Lamb Shank - Slow roasted in rosemary & white wine, served with mashed potato and a redcurrant sauce - 10.50
Lemongrass & Saffron Chicken - Roast breast of chicken in a lemongrass, saffron & vegetable broth served with coriander rice - 9.50
Vegetarian Paella - Spanish rice with roasted vegetables, tomato & chili - 7.50

Cocktails and desserts are also superb, but there's no space left to write about them here!

In the photos you can see my little niece, at two different ages. She grew to love this place ;)

This restaurant has a great location too, it is a 1 minute walk to Richmond Bridge and the river bank, and we often go for a stroll along it after our meal.
