    Family-Friendly Richmond Gastropub

The Lass O' Richmond Hill is a family-friendly pub in Richmond, located close to Richmond Park. It looks like a pretty typical London pub - cosy feeling inside, with plenty of wooden ceiling beams and a good selection of beer on tap. The staff are mostly friendly (though a bit slow at times) and there is even non-smoking areas!

There is a huge selection of food to choose from, from the printed menu and also a large specials board. We have eaten there for both lunch and dinner, and although we have enjoyed the atmosphere we haven't had much luck in choosing the best dishes, each time being a little disappointed in the food.

Our dining companions have had better luck though, with standout dishes being the Gammon Steak and the tasty looking Beef & Speckled Hen Pie.

This is a busy place at times - especially for Sunday lunch when bookings are a must. And let's hope you like children, cause they are everywhere!

    Our favourite London pub!

We have been to this pub quite a few times, tried practically everything on the menu, and love it. It is an upmarket pub.

The ambiance, service, no sleazy characters, not too smokey, and good food. There is a roaring fire in the one section with high-backed chairs ro relax in.

    Who could want for more?

As it has that special something, we have had a couple of special occasions here, namely New Years and Christmas meals with family and friends.

I can heartily recommend the lamb shank and the steak and ale pie. Other meals looks great too (we have only had one complaint from a friend who went there, saying her steak and ale pie didnt have much steak in it).

Other than that though, all feedback, and our own experience, has been excellent!

Desserts are varied and flavourful, I especially enjoy their chocolate mousse.

Their menu changes all the time with different specials (written on a chalk board), and we love their variety.
