I should like this independent bar and have some good nights but I'm still not sure about it. The food is very average and so avoid that but it does always create a good atmosphere on a Weekend. Good place to have a few but you have to avoid the big fish in small pond types who can try to ruin your night.

I have popped into One Paradise Road a couple of times for a drink on the way to dinner elsewhere.

The atmosphere doesn't blow me away, but it is a nice enough place for a drink, especially now it is (obviously) non smoking.

Located a little off the main drag, so perhaps more of a bar for locals, than day trippers.

great bar but the above looks as if it might have been written by the management! Friendly place to pop into if you don't fancy cooking or for a glass of wine. Can get busy at weekends but nice atmosphere.

Ever get bored with the same format in every bar you go to? Well One Paradise Road is a refreshing change. This small friendly independant bar is great for food and a glass of wine.. or two.. after work during the week. It also comes alive at the weekend with a bongo player and live music. It can get busy but the service is good enough so you're never waiting too long for a drink. Always great fun.
