everything you could ever want in a cup (of milk)
About 3 months ago I was wandering through Reading on my lunch break, bored to tears , when I wandered into Shakeaway on Union Street (which is locally called Smelly Fish Alley because of the fishmongers and butchers).
My ears pricked up because there was something very happy on the iPod, and the girls behind the counter were dancing about.
I was greated with a huge smile, help to choose (I stood for about 10 minutes staring an ummming and ahhhing) and finally wandered back to the office with a milkshake made with icecream and Jamacan Ginger cake , a much happier bloke, and all for less than 3 quid.
Over the past months, I've dragged people from my office into their, especially when they are having crappy days, and watched them get over excited at the hundreds (honestly I mean hundred, and that not counting the combinations) of flavours you can get. Even my American friend says they're the best shakes she's had!
I think it's fair to say I (and my team mate) must go in just about every other day, because it's fun, funky, milky, mouthwatering goodness.
Just been back against this week, it still rocks my world.
