Everest 53 is a newly opened Indian restaurant near the heart of Reading town centre.

The restaurant itself is compact and serves very enjoyable food. I ordered an onion bhaji as a starter which was tasty and well cooked; then a chicken shashlick for the main course which had tender chicken.

The only downside to this restaurant is that the tables felt a little small with 4 seated plus food. However the waiters solved this problem by bringing an additional small table to place the food upon.

An enjoyable place to eat, conveniently located near to some of the principle drinking establishments in Reading.
