The sardar palace is a favourite of mine, as it always has loads of space, a comfy bar and lovely service. The food is always promptly served and piping hot. Normally we eat here in a large group so order a wide variety of dishes. The food is nicely presented and well served. My favourite is always the chicken biriani which I have with piswari naan and my partner normally has a chicken dansak,. His only criticism is that the lentils in the dansak are slightly over cooked so do not retain their shape. He will normally have this with rice. There are usually loads left over after a good meal.
