A fantastic Greek restaurant with a real traditional feel. The staff are exceptionally friendly and the food is delicious. The traditional Greek meze, to be shared by two or more people, is available as either a fish or meat option and allows you to sample a variety of traditional Greek dishes over numerous courses. A great way to try out some of the dishes you’re not sure you’ll like, while still enjoying some of your favourites! The lamb, part of the main course, was so tender it just fell off the bone. The meze is completed with a platter of fruit, just perfect after all that you have consumed before.
I have visited this restaurant numerous times before and never had a bad experience.

Lovely authentic Greek restaurant in Caversham.

Food is really delicious and varied and the quality is really good. The meze is especially good with a wide variety of dishes - excellent value for a group or if you're hungry (as the dishes just keep coming) plus you get to have some dishes that you might not typically order (the beetroot salad is very tasty). If you prefer not to share then the Souvlakia (monkfish) and Kleftiko are scrummy.

There are plenty of Greek wines on the menu (the Naoussa Grand Reserve and Cava Boutari are excellent) and bottled water comes in big plastic bottles, just like on that holiday you have such fond memories of!

Definitely worth a try if you like tasty Greek food, but make sure you book as it does get very bust, especially at weekends.

I visited Kyrenia for a valentines and it was definitely the perfect place. A cosy setting with homely food and great service – what more could you need? We had a selection of starters to begin with that let us taste a variety of Greek dishes – mainly vegetarian. My main meal was an amazing braised lamb shank cooked until the meat fell of the bone and melted in the mouth. The staff were a delight – very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wine.

With many chain restaurant and endless Italians all over Reading this really is a dining experience that is a break from the norm – highly recommended!
