The Crowne is situated next door to the Premier Inn and represents the other end of the market and 50% higher price.
For that you get a very secure car park, good location, an excellent restaurant, free papers, pool, gym and spa.
The rooms are well sized and very comfortable. They include a good sized desk, internet access and leather chair in case you have work to do when you arrive.
My biggest gripe is that you have to book well in advance as it's the first to fill up in and around Reading.
