Hidden down Union Street (locally known as "smelly fish alley") is a great take-out sandwich bar. The couple who run it are amazingly friendly, the specials everyday are great (this week alone I've had Tikka Duck, marinated beef and Pekking Duck) and its all very reaosnably priced.
The queue out of the door is a testiment to a hidden gem. There are lots of sandwich places in Reading city centre, but this is the best I've been to.

Top lucnhtime sandwiches
