This is just what it is called - a tearoom, so don't expect a restaurant or lavish venue. It is a quaint and traditional tea room that serves light lunches, cakes and drinks. They do ice creams too. It is popular mainly with families and couple with dogs who have used the Country Park for walks & activities. We usually cycle from Holes Bay to the Park, reward ourselves with a cake & coffee and cycle back. The place is run by the council and as such they offer employment facilities to people with special needs but they are obviously guided and managed well. They have a place to park your bikes and you are allowed dogs outside where they provide fresh water too. You can eat inside or out. The toilet facilities are the public loos outside.

In the middle of Upton Country Park, these tearooms are perfect if you are in need of a quick bite to eat. They serve Tea, ice cream, cakes and some hot foods and you can eat either inside or outside in a small courtyard area.

The large choice of food is very good, and much of it can be eaten while walking round the park. You can also buy duck food so that you can feed the ducks in the pond at the other side of the park.

The staff here are very friendly and polite, the tearooms are very clean and the prices are reasonable. I would recommend.
