Reviews for Bricklayers Arms
The Brickies as it's known to locals is a traditional style pub in an area full of trendy wine bars. It's always possible to get a seat and if you don't mind shabby decor then you'll love the laid back atmosphere. Don't go on a rainy night if you might need the loo as you have to go to an outside toilet block. The biggest advantages of this place are that it has a lovely beer garden where you can take kids and dogs and there aren't many of those left in local pubs now. They don't do any food but expect good ales and it's nearby other pubs and Mr Kyps if you fancy seeing some live music.
The Bricklayers arms is a nice little suprise, from the outside it looks like a tiny little keyhole pub, actually saying that, it is. It's very small inside, but out the back there is a really nice and large beer garden.
A great pub for the summer, or a cosy and warm one for the winter.
I havn't tried the food though, so you'll have to wait for another review for that.
