This is a top notch out of town traditional pub to eat in, the lounge room which is mainly used for family’s, friends and couples to eat and drink is the best place to make home. The staff at the bar are really friendly and are always smiling and happy. The menu is pretty good and the prices are reasonable, there is plenty to chose from suiting all budgets with some offers on 2 dishes for around £6. The food turnaround is quick and the items I have tried always seem to be freshly cooked and hot. This pub does show football games and whilst most games are showed in the background, major sporting events can over run the venue so it may be worth missing a visit during a major game.

The Golden Hind is a really nice pub with a good atmosphere. they oftern have very good drink offers, and the prices are low, which competes with weatherspoons. It is quite a large pub, and there is alot of room for many table and chairs for eaters. It is suitable for children, and is a family pub, and is also go to meet in the eve for drinks. I have eaten there a few times, and i have never had any complaints. I did have to wait for a while for my food but it was very busy. the food menu is cheap and they also have 2 meals for £7, whaich includes a long list.
I will definatly be going again, and will be in a few weeks for a birthday meal!
Overall it is a nice pub and the food is good!

This is not a great pub but ok for locals and meeting people before going somewhere else.

Food is very basic and I wouldn't recommend it.

It could do with a re-vamp!

Not much of an atmosphere. Porbably more suited to older quiet, people.

The Golden Hind is pretty local to me and has to be one of the best local pubs ever! The atmosphere is always pleasant and welcoming, there is a lounge area mainly used for eating and by familes and a bar area with a pool table aimed at the younger pub goer. The staff are very polite and always really friendly and weloming. Drink are as you would expect them to be and the prices are in line with other local venues and sometimes there are some drinks offers on. The menu is pretty good for a small pub with lots to chose from and a 2 for £6 (I think) offer on. The food itself is always very well presented and is cooked excalty as it should be and most importantly always fresh. All in all you will not be disappointed.
