Reviews for Walkabout Inn
I have rated this a 4 out of 5 because I have only had one bad night out here - which was partly because it was soo busy during freshers week! I think the walkabout pub is brilliant - not only does it combine sports with a bar, but also a bar with a nightclub. The setting in plymouth of the walkabout is large and often provides a good night out for performing rock bands - i have seen a few really good ones. The drinks are of reasonable price and the doorstaff are really friendly.
Walkabout is located just on the outskirt of the city centre and is a pretty big venue with plenty to offer. During the day whenever I have visited there is always plenty of tables on offer, the menu is not too bad and there is plenty to chose from, unlike other pubs like weatherspoons you can see the food being made freshly in the opened fronted kitchen. Normally I have one of the burgers when I visit and these are always pretty filling, especially with option extras of bacon, egg or more pattys etc. Drink are priced to what you would expect to pay for a city centre venue. Evenings the venue can get very busy and seems to be really popular with students and locals - all in all pretty good, never been let down yet.
