Great location next to the rowing lake. There are walks from here over to Nene park or you can stroll around the lake and then stop for a drink and bite to eat. Lively place for people of all ages. Friendly staff, and great service. Good range of meals on offer. Find a table, note the number and then order your food. Normal thing for this type of pub. Food is tasty, good quality and good value. Served quickly too.

Loads of tables to sit outside on a nice sunny day again with views over the rowing lake. It's next door to the Ramada Jarvis hotel previously called the Butterfly hotel. If you are staying for the weekend then you can walk into Peterborough for the shopping from here along Thorpe Rd although it will take about 15 mins.
