I absolutely LOVE this place. My partner and I go at lease once a month if we can. The food is outstanding, the service is friendly and it has a nice cosy atmosphere, not pretentious. Its not cheap if you go for the evening menu but even still, its worth every mouthfull. The Pre-Theatre is wicked value for money. Even the bread and butter is to die for. I have never been anything but delighted every time i come here. Well worth a visit. Your first time wont be your last!!

This Scottish restaurant is a little different to most of the other restaurants in the surrounding area. Serving dishes like 'veal' and 'wood pigeon' gives it a rather upmarket feel.
I had the pork glazed with apple, with mustard mash. Delicious! I normally find some places have trouble cooking 'tender' pork, but this was done to perfection. The mash was just the right consistency too - fluffy and not at all runny.
The pudding was by far the best part though - crumbled shortbread with caramel sauce and ice cream - Crannaken I think it was called. Heaven in a bowl!
The restaurant itself is very small, so would advise booking in advance if you want a guaranteed table.

Raeburns bistro and grill is positioned right in the heart of Paisley's historic town centre and as such is very easy to get to by foot though it is a little harder to find appropriate parking nearby that doesnt cost money. The restaurant is welcoming and the staff friendly and polite.
The menu is an eclectic mix of tradional scottish fare with a modern twist and has good use of locally produced foodstuffs as well as seasonal favourites. Everything is made fresh on the premises as you order and so although it takes a little longer to get your food than in some cases it is well worth it for the freshness and quality of the taste. This restaurant is fairly small and so it is worth booking ahead, particularly at the weekend. Well worth a visit for that special occasion.
