Is a hit with me. It is about time that we had a place in Oxford where you can get something other than sandwiches or burgers as a lunch take away. The food is about a fiver and what ever you order is more than enough to fill you up - espcially for lunch. The place is really small, and rather hot if it is warm outside but I usually get a take away. You can also get a frequent user card - which is a good idea and no one else in Oxford offers one as far as I am aware. One recommendation is for the "bowl" as they call it which is in fact a "box", this needs to be changed. Maybe they should use a bowl made out of an tortilla or something. Very reasonable.

My initial impression of The Mission was a bit negative... I had been there when they were just getting started, and they barely knew how to roll a proper burrito. These days, though, the burritos are fantastic, and remind me of the ones from San Francisco's Mission district that inspired this place.

    The best burritos in Oxford

Fantastic California-Mexican cuisine, true to origins of The Mission District in San Francisco.
The whole menu is really good, chicken, pork, steak and vegetarian burritos, fajita burritos or tacos, and they have a license so you can enjoy with a beer!
All the food is really fresh and tastes so good. The burritos are huge, a massive meal, great for lunch or dinner and a much nicer option for fast food than anything else in Oxford.
Thank goodness, decent food available in the town centre at last!
