50 St Giles, Oxford, OX1 3LU

A great neighbourhood cafe, finally a decent croissant and good coffee close to the city centre. Can be really busy over lunch time meaning that you need to get there early and they shut the free wifi down at lunch time but its handy if you want a nice place to work over the rest of the day. Prices for both food and coffee to sit in or take away are very reasonable for Oxford. Would recommend their soups and their chicken pesto panini is the best in the area.

Good coffee and two rooms upstairs offer a nice place where to have a good conversation, study or even work a bit (the place has free wifi).
Very close to the city centre, it's usually quite and especially enjoyable in the morning, while at lunchtime tends to fill up quickly.
