I've been going in this pub now for about 15 years, so much so that I can be classed as a "regular", and what can i say except it is the best pub ever. From the friendly staff, perfect location, and one of the finest Chinese restaurants in the county if not wider!...and now they run a full Sunday carvery as well! I must add that I am biased as I liked the place so much i have a part time job there to! All i'll say is that if your in that part of Nuneaton, stop in! you'll feel like you've been part of the crowd for a lifetime, this engaging warm pub is a little slice of traditional British pub perfection!

absolutly brilliant pub, great welcome upon arrival, great food, great drink, guiness drinker and pint poured perfectly, no idiots in there trying to start anything, and generally a nice atmosphere, highly recommend it, lots of things 2 do, i'e; pool table, darts, table football etc.

PROS:

It serves food as well as selling alcohol and cigarettes. The food is very nice it is Chinese food and made on the premises. You do not have to have a minimum spend and can also order take away and not eat in the pub. It has different things to do such as a pool table, table football game and a interactive gaming machine, which includes games like Deal or No Deal.

CONS:

It looks quite old and could do with a lot of paint to make it look more friendly. Does not have a big screen only a small flat tv near the bar where people normally like to watch sport.
