Nottingham Midland Station provides local train services to Netherfield, Radcliffe, Bingham, Beeston, Attenborough, Loughborough, Bulwell, Hucknall and Newstead. There are also a range of direct routes to Derby, Sheffield, Leicester, Grantham, Skegness and London. Central Trains is the prominent train company although Virgin trains do provide certain services. Please call for details.

Nottingham Midland station is one of the nicer stations I've used in the Midlands. Well managed, relatively clean and easy to navigate, with a number of good facilities. The coffee shop on the main concourse is excellent (and I managed to pick up a freebie the last time I used the station, with vouchers being handed out to early morning commuters) and the small WHSmiths in the station is well stocked. The platforms are easy to navigate and the announcements are clear enough to avoid any confusion. The station is also well connected, with a covered taxi rank and a direct connection to the city's tram line, and is also within walking distance of the city centre.
