    Le Mistral is a great little restaurant. This is one of the best French restaurants in Nottingham/Nottinghamshire; there are infact to Le Mistral’s in Nottingham one within the city centre close to Zavvi and this one in Sherwood. You can park close to the hotel on the side streets, this is also very close to a good lot of pubs.

    During the day Le Mistral is a café serving great food. In an evening this then becomes a lively bistro or restaurant.

    They have a website of their own.

    The meals can be quite pricey but it is worth splashing out every now and then. I have only been to the restaurant as a couple but I have seen many groups in the restaurant and would love to go as a group.

    Great wine list, service and food. Good value for money - You couldn't ask for a better night out. Lovely continental feel and welcoming ambience and staff.

    The Best Small Restaurant in Nottingham

    This is my local restaurant and also luckily my favourite it ticks all the boxes. In the daytime it is a fantastic cafe serving great value freshly cooked food and the nicest coffee in Nottingham; then in the evening it turns into a lively informal restaurant that serves the best food in Nottingham. The Beef Bourgignon is to die for and their wine list is fantastic (it was runner up in the Nottingham Restaurant Awards for its wine list in 2006). It was also runner up in the Best Small Restaurant in Nottingham Restaurant Awards this year.
