Reviews for Red Hot Buffet Shack
Red hot buffet shack is without a doubt a place I would recommend to all my friends. I went there earlier this year and I cant wait to go back. I was pleasantly surprised by how good all the food was, including the selection available at the tepanyaki shack. Fresh pizzas get made throughout the night and the salad selection is broad with many side dishes available as well.
Staff are pleasant as well although when it is busy you find that it seems they are not attending to you very much. Value for money is good and its worth asking about student discount at the start of the meal.
Red hot buffet shack has a huge variety of food on offer with the ability to satisfy almost anyone! An excellent place to go with friends or a partner. It has tables suited to all guests, putting couples to one side and groups in another.
The choice of food ranges from italian to indian to chinese and british and probably more I dont recognise! I find the Indian foods to be well made with the rice impressing me greatly. The dessert section is limited as are most buffets but the sweet section is fun!
Definitely recommended for at least a one time visit!
The Red Hot Buffet Shack is the perfect restaurant to go to if you want to appease a large group of people with contrasting favourite cultures. The buffet works incredibly well and can have a wide variety of dishes from all over the world. It is simply a restaurant that you have to try once.
Yea the food is not the greatest food ever cooked, but for what you pay and you what get it is certainly great value. Perfect for somewhere where you don’t want a fancy meal but you want a decent meal.
The only downside is that I find then tend to cram people in so space can be a little on the short side when eating which is not often ideal especially if you are in a large group.
I certainly recommended trying it and you will not be let down!
The best thing about this restaurant is the range of cuisines you are able to sample, from indian to chinese to thai to italian to mexican they really have so many great flavors. The dishes are all very good and there is a huge variety. You can get your own pizza made or pasta (all included in price). You can get your own Chinese meal with your custom sauce (the best). There are loads of starters and even more main courses however desserts are rather limited including a small sweet shop section! There is little atmosphere in the place and the seating arrangement is pretty bad. If you fancy trying some new food then try this place.
Red Hot Buffet is the best of Nottingham's all you can eat buffet restaurants. There truly is something for everyone. The restaurant offers Chinese, Indian and Italian dishes. The salad bar has a wide range of choice, so health conscious diners can eat all they can without feeling too guilty. A variety of ice creams are offered for dessert, as well as fruit salad. There are also pick and mix sweets for the kids and a chocalate fountain for the kids in all of us! The best part about this restaurant is the value; eat until you feel you have obtained it!
As it has been said, the choice of food offered here is great, with plenty of curry dishes, and rice, aswell as chinese food. They also have pizza and chips, which could be good for younger children or people who aren't as willing to try new foods, or just aren't into curry etc.
Also, the deserts on offer are also great, with plenty of different icecreams and cakes and toppings, so if you were dining in the day, the price of £7 makes it very much worth the money; however if dining at night in a large group, I'd think the prices were too expensive ( it's something like £13.50)
This restaurant is the tops in culinary delights. It boasts food from many different cultures including, Indian, Chinese, Italian, English and more – there’s even a chocolate fountain!
It’s a great place to go on a special occasion with a large group because it isn’t very romantic because you have to keep going back up to get more food and it is quite rowdy in there. The food is excellent though and it is all well labeled. There could be more vegetarian options but then again – most places don’t have too many. The toilets are nice, clean with cool sinks and the staff are friendly and polite but not the quickest at removing dirty used plates from tables. The price is quite high, but for what you get it’s ok, cheaper to go at lunchtime though and not really a family orientated place.
I went here for my friends birthday in Aug this year. I had never been here until then and did'nt know what to expect but I have to say I was pleasantly suprised.
This is a great choice of venue for a birthday or works do as you know that there is some choice of food for everyone.
The food is all freshly cooked and the turnover of food is quick and kept fresh. It is presented as a buffet so once you have ordered your drinks from the friendly staff you can go up and help yourself to what you would like to eat with a choice of Indian , Italian etc. !
I would recommend this venue which is situated in the popular part of the city in the Lace Market area of Nottingham. I would also recommend booking if there are large groups of you planning on going! :0) x
