  worst place to eat

  i recently visited this pub , bar staff pleasent and welcoming and all round atmosphere very good it was just the food who do they get to cook this i think my 10yr old could do a lot better very tasteless and well over cooked never again. And when i approached the cook to comment on the meal the young man was very rude and offensive. i think he should b replaced ammediatly

  excellent, friendly pub

  Current

  Great range of ales and beers. Friendliest staff I've ever known. Nice mix of locals and students. Good food, especially the sunday roast or the curry. Eclectic jukebox. Brillaint pub quiz on a tuesday with a gallon of beer as the prize. Generally cosy, happy atmosphere.
