Reviews for Dogma
Dogma is very conveniently placed in Nottingham City Centre where one can easily go from one pub or bar to another and then onto a club. Inebriation and bad behaviour is often the norm to be seen in such establishments, although don’t get me wrong, Dogma has a certain level of ‘class’ until around 1am when a brawl outside on the pavement with the bouncers can be expected. However, Dogma does have a nice party atmosphere and the clientele on a typical Friday or Saturday night are very nicely dressed. Don’t be surprised if you think all the women there are clones: it is remarkable how most of the girls in Dogma all seem to have long, straightened and harshly platinum hair and sport outfits from the typical high street stores (something shiny, short and revealing, made out of man-made fibres). Don’t expect to be able to hold a conversation in this Bar...the music is way too loud. Perhaps Dogma is an ogler’s heaven?!
I have had great nights here but also really bad nights here…it’s a bit hit and miss. Although I think how great my night has been has often depended on how much ive had to drink (which kinda suggests that Dogma isn’t a great club).
There are three floors although ive never been upstairs. There are bars on both the ground floor and downstairs and there is a decent sized dance floor.
The music isn’t great and can sometimes be difficult to dance to. However, its fairly cheap to get in and is located pretty central so there are plenty of bars nearby. The atmosphere is quite relaxed and you could never describe it as cheesy!
